Fall - my favorite time of year!

Although we are having a bit of a heatwave at the moment - Fall is still my favorite time of year. I love the colors of the changing leaves, the feel of the air when you get up in the morning and the smell of the air at night when the stars are out. As mentioned before - in another life I was a pilot and last night as I stood outside staring up at the stars - a small plane flew by overhead. It was just about this time of year when I was learning to fly at night - and as I watched it fly over, I longed to be up there with them. Maybe...one day...I will return to the skies, but for now - it will just have to wait.
